The Wedding, pt 9 - photo shoot on the golf course

Literally moments after cutting the cake (and even before we got to eat a piece), our photographer whisked us away to take more posed pictures outside.  The first few included my lovely bridesmaids.

... then add in the groom.

... the dramatic faded background poses.

bride and maid of honor ... it was sooo hot, and really windy...

Danny and his sister

... I even loved how the boutineers turned out... so pretty.

yay for ice cold water on a blistering hot day!  they let us drive a golf cart around a bit to take pictures, so fun!

... throughout the time we were outside, my veil kept falling off and catching the wind.  At one point in the photo shoot, the wind finally caught my veil, whisking it off my head and flying it into the sky, higher and higher over the trees.

... and to make my embarrassment worse, as I attempted to run after it, on my first step I tripped over my dress and flip flops, and fell flat on my butt on the ground, watching my veil disappear.  I kept waiting to see it fall into a tree or worse in the water fountain we were next to, but it kept floating just past them and managed to gracefully fall on the grass past the water.  Luckily, Danny's brother David saw what happened from the clubhouse and went running after it, and was able to bring it back to me.  I thought for sure I'd have to get another one.

... a few photos without the veil.

yay! I got my veil back!  ... I just loved how this picture turned out.

Then we got to have a few fun shots... since we were on a golf course, our photographer thought we out to have a few "golfing" photos, haha.  Danny had a lot of fun with that.

... back to the reception, where our guests are waiting...
